Dormitive Virtue, Eldritch Priest‘s second recording for the Halocline Trance imprint (Colin Fisher, ACT!, Baby Casey, Myst Milano, Stefana Fratila) offers an exciting detour from the Vancouver-based composer/ writer’s output thus far.  A concise, mostly-improvised live recording of Priest’s very first solo concert in 35 years of playing the guitar, it sees him delving deep into his primary instrument melding his peculiar compositional signatures with the strange peripheries of jazz music.
