ABOUT: On their energetic new outing Six Changes, acclaimed Montréal ensemble Architek Percussion blurs the boundary between chamber minimalism and buoyant experimental rock. Where their previous discography included collaborations with composers such as Nicole Lizée, Adam Basanta, Eliot Britton, and Jason Sharp, this new six-part piece was co-composed by the group itself.  A collision of clever rhythmic interplay, crisp melodic figures, and warm, glowing textures, it’s all anchored by an assertive pulse.
